Climate

The local winter (May–September) comes with average day temperatures between 18ºC and 25ºC. Temperatures can drop considerably at night. Night frost is not exceptional.

In summer the average day temperatures are between 20ºC and 34ºC. In the extreme North and South however, temperatures around 40ºC can be measured.

The coastal area is influenced by the cool Benguela current coming from the South Pole. This results in temperatures between 15ºC and 25ºC. Most of the time it is foggy at night.

Wheather Namibia

The rainy season runs from December up to the end of March. This period comes with heavy showers, causing rivers to stream. After heavy showers usually the sun will show up soon again. Aside from this rainy period the humidity in Namibia in general is very low.
