1 Arrival Windhoek A driver will pick you up from the airport and bring you to your accommodation in the city center. Today you will have time to relax. Windhoek church
2 Rehoboth Close to Rehoboth, there is a small private park situated near a beautiful lake. Here will be your first experience with African nature and its wildlife. There are different kinds of antelopes, zebra’s, ostrich and giraffes. A very nice park to start with and you can even do safe hiking in between these wild animals. Lake Oanob
3 Kalahari The Namibian Kalahari is a special semi-desert. Enjoy the beautiful grassy red sand dunes. It is a lovely area to hike or make a game / nature drive​​. Kalahari
4 Fish River Canyon The route continues south, to the Fish River Canyon. You will pass the Quiver tree forest and Giant’s Playground with strange rock formations. The quiver trees are rare aloes species. The hollow branches are used by the San people for carrying their arrows. In the far south you will visit the spectacular Fish River Canyon. 5 Fish River Canyon
6 Desert Along the Orange river you will drive pass the Ai-Ais Richtersveld National Park. Then your route continues through a deserted desert. You are accommodated near the forbidden diamante area. You can visit Lüderitz. It is easily seen, that Lüderitz has a German origin. The streets are full of beautiful old houses from around 1900. It is nice to walk around in the city. The church, on the highest hill, has beautiful windows. A visit to the desolated mining town of Kolmanskop, just outside Lüderitz, is a must-do. You can join a guided tour, which will give you a good impression of how life used to be in this small town, which is currently a real ghost town. Richtersveld

7 Desert
8 Tiras Mountains You will drive one of the nicest scenic routes of Namibia, through the Tiras mountains. Be amazed by the beauty of the country. Tiras Mountains
9 Sossusvlei Absolutely one of the highlights of your holiday is a visit to the Sossusvlei with huge red sand dunes. The sunrise and sunset are magical. Do not forget to bring a visit to Deadvlei. On the white clay pan there are acacia trees that seem petrified, though this is not the case, they are scorched by the sun. Because the area is very dry, the trees do not decompose. Sossusvlei

11 Coast One cannot miss a stay at the wonderful coast of the Atlantic Ocean, full of seals, pelicans, dolphins and even some penguins. The beach seems to run smoothly into the desert. You are staying in an old German city. Along the way you have the possibility to see the Welwitschia, a special desert plant, with only 2 leaves, which can grow as old as 1000 years. Swakopmund

13 Brandberg / Cape Cross After your time at the coast you will visit Damaraland. You will drive towards Brandberg where the rock painting of the “White Lady" can be found and the Numas canyon with rock paintings and a fresh water spring. Make definitely a stop at Cape Cross. Cape Cross is famous for its seal colony. You can simply follow your ears and nose to this spectacle in the water and on the shore. You will see seals as far as you can see. Brandberg
14 Twijfelfontein At Twijfelfontein (spring of doubt), there are San rock paintings. Twijfelfontein is on the UNESCO World Heritage List. A must is to visit the rock paintings with a guide.  You can make a stopover on your way to the north. Twijfelfontein
15 Himbas You are traveling further through Kaokoland. The north of Namibia is magnificent and seems to be unchanged for the last hundreds of years. You will see traditional Himba villages and the special traditionally dressed people, which seem to come from another era. You will also see Herero ladies with their traditional Victorian dresses. From here you can visit a local Himba village. Kaokoland
16 Epupa Falls Today you will have the whole day to travel to the Epupa falls. These falls are magnificent, especially because life around it seems not to be disturbed. You can relax at the waterfront. Or you can visit a Himba-village or do one of the guided hikes. You will find out more about the surrounding area, animals, local community and their activities. 18 Kunene River Also this day will be spend along the Kunene river. Enjoy the beautiful birds that will fly by while you are sitting outside. Swimming is not recommended, because of the huge crocodiles living in this area. Kunene
19 Cheetah Farm On a farm near Kamanjab, the owner is keeping rescued cheetahs. On the premises near the house, there are some tame cheetahs. On a large piece of land there are a lot more of them, which are not tame at all. You can join a tour to feed the animals, a very exciting experience. Cheetah
20 Etosha NP Etosha National Park really has everything to offer. The predators are well represented: lions, cheetahs, leopards, hyenas and wild dogs. You can see the African elephant, different antelopes, warthogs, ostriches en many other animals. During daytime you can drive through the park, there are an endless number of possible roads. In the evening you can spot the game near your accommodation at the floodlit waterhole. Etosha Elephants

24 Bushmen From Grootfontein you can visit the Bushmen. This is the time to get to know the culture and habits of the 'San' tribe. Bushmen
25 Waterberg Plateau Waterberg Plateau is plateau of sandstone, 150 m above the surrounding landscape. The diversity of trees and savannah bushes makes it a beautiful place to stay. More so, because it is known for its special and endangered species, like the sable and roan antelope and the black and white rhino. 26 Windhoek The end of your trip is approaching and you will drive back to Windhoek. Windhoek is a nice town to walk around, go shopping, visit some museums or buy the last souvenirs. Make sure you end your trip festively at one of the many nice restaurants! Windhoek city
27 Departure Windhoek A driver will pick you up from your accommodation and bring you to the airport with a head full of beautiful memories.
