1 Arrival Windhoek A driver will pick you up from the airport and bring you to your accommodation in the city center. Today you will have time to relax. Windhoek church
2 Sossusvlei Absolutely one of the highlights of your holiday is a visit to the Sossusvlei with huge red sand dunes. The sunrise and sunset are magical. Do not forget to bring a visit to Deadvlei. On the white clay pan there are acacia trees that seem petrified, though this is not the case, they are scorched by the sun. Because the area is very dry, the trees do not decompose. Sossusvlei

4 Coast One cannot miss a stay at the wonderful coast of the Atlantic Ocean, full of seals, pelicans, dolphins and even some penguins. The beach seems to run smoothly into the desert. You are staying in an old German city. Along the way you have the possibility to see the Welwitschia, a special desert plant, with only 2 leaves, which can grow as old as 1000 years. Swakopmund

6 Twijfelfontein At Twijfelfontein (spring of doubt), there are San rock paintings. Twijfelfontein is on the UNESCO World Heritage List. A must is to visit the rock paintings with a guide.  You can make a stopover on your way to the north. Twijfelfontein
7 Etosha NP Etosha National Park really has everything to offer. The predators are well represented: lions, cheetahs, leopards, hyenas and wild dogs. You can see the African elephant, different antelopes, warthogs, ostriches en many other animals. During daytime you can drive through the park, there are an endless number of possible roads. 10 Rundu From Rundu, located at the Okavango river you can see Angola. Because of this river the area is covered with bushes and an abundance of birds. Do not forget to take your binoculars. 11 Divundu Arriving at the Caprivi-Strip you have time to visit the national parks that are not yet discovered by mass tourism. The Popa falls are around the corner. Listen and see the hippos in the Okavango river. Caprivi Bird

13 Kongola The tour will continue to the wettest part of the Caprivi, you will imagine you are in the Okavango Delta, a green and lush area. 14 Kasane Kasane is the entrance to Chobe NP. At the Chobe river you will find an overwhelming flora en fauna. You can spend several days here easily. Chobe Riverfront can be visited by car as well as by boat. From Kasane you can also make a (organized) day trip to the Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe/Zambia: a visit to this wonder of the worlds is highly recommended. Chobe Lions

17 Makgadikgadi NP Through Nata you will travel to Gweta. From Gweta you can visit the vast plains of Makgadikgadi NP and Nxai Pan. In the dry season you can do a sleep-out on the pan. You will sleep underneath an amazing starry sky. Makgadikgadi Nxai Pan
18 Maun From Maun you can visit the Okavango Delta by yourself or organised. When you camp you can even spend a night in the Delta. Very exciting because game can enter the campsite! Also a fly-inn to a luxury lodge in the Okavango Delta can be organised. The wetland of Moremi NP ensures an abundance of game. 21 Ghanzi Today you will travel through the Kalahari. You will stay near Ghanzi, a small town where the 'San' tribe lives. The Bushmen use traditional techniques for centuries in order to survive in this harsh climate. Kalahari Bushmen
22 Buitepos The drive through the Kalahari will bring you back to Namibia. You will still spend a night near the borderpost. Also this part of Namibia is still part of the Kalahari. Kalahari2
23 Windhoek The end of your trip is approaching and you will drive back to Windhoek. Windhoek is a nice town to walk around, go shopping, visit some museums or buy the last souvenirs. Make sure you end your trip festively at one of the many nice restaurants! Windhoek city
24 Departure Windhoek A driver will pick you up from your accommodation and bring you to the airport with a head full of beautiful memories.
